Rugby Station - BR period locomotives: lnwrrm721

Ex-LMS 4-6-2 Stanier Pacific No 46256 'Sir William A Stanier' on a down express seen leaving the station. The last two Coronation Pacifics were built with roller bearings and modified trailing truck under the cab. The main visible difference was the cab side sheets being short and straight across the bottom. The absence of the curved footplate in front of the cylinders was a common feature with the de-streamlined locomotives.
