This view of the shed provides a better understanding of the siding running outside the shed as well as No 3 and 4 roads. Of interest is the half-height wall adjacent to the dividing wall between No 2 and 3 roads. This must have been warranted by the design as the original shed did not have such a wall (see image 'smjasa55'). The siding to the side was used to accommodate locomotive and coaching stock not in use some used for mess facilities.
