In this close up of image 'mrw439' we can see the up platform building has been repaired and repainted and whilst still small was a lot better than the structure seen in image 'mrw440a'. The lighting still remains identical to that seen 40 years before including the swan neck lamp over the waiting room door. The signal box seen in image 'mrw440a' has now been demolished although the barrow crossing remains as does the footpath albeit now finished with tarmac.
