Kings Norton station: mrkn251

MR 0-6-0 No 3842, bearing a number 3 shed plate, brings a train of mineral wagons on to the up line. This view was taken prior to the widening of the tracks to four roads. To the left is a gate that provided access to the signal box which was located immediately to the left of the photographer. The wooden crossing provided only partially covers the space between the 'four foot' and the 'six foot unlike the view seen in image'mrkn277a'. 11th March 1922
