This view of Kings Norton was taken from the signal box seen in image 'mrkn525' and provides a superb illustration of the approach to the station from Northfield where the line changed from double to quadruple tracks. On both sides of the mainline are extensive coach sidings whilst in the distance next to the goods shed is a locomotive waiting its next turn of duty. 19th September 1955
