The exterior of the station buildings at road level. The booking office, waiting room etc was based in this structure and the access to the platforms. There are two station name boards, the one in the centre above the fascia is a BR totem whilst the one on the right-hand corner by the bridge, is thought to be an original MR station sign. Circa late 1950s?
