The Swift Motor Company's excursion coaching stock is lost through the buffers when being marshalled. It is unrecorded as to whether this meant the excursion was abandoned in consequence. One hopes not as in these days workers had very few days off from work.

Note the size of the breakdown crane its seems hardly man enough for the job and note too the shape of the second truck away from the camera. C1904
