This map shows Saltley station just above Saltley Viaduct with the route continuing on to Washwood Heath Sidings. The set of sidings to the left below Aston Church road are the MR's carriage sidings and opposite these can be seen the single line connection from the MR to the LNWR Aston-Stechford line. Off this single line connection can be seen sidings entering Saltley Works which was a secondary factory to Metro Cammel's main works seen above Aston Church road.
