E&WJR and SMJ - Locomotives and Rolling Stock:

Ex-E&WJR 0-6-0 No 11 is seen in its SMJ livery standing
on the back road behind Stratford on Avon shed circa 1919. One of the longest
lived locomotives of the E&WJR/SMJ era, it was built in 1896 and lasted
until 1930 before it was withdrawn for scrapping. Locomotive No 11 was
classified as 1F by the LMS and was allocated by the LMS No 2305 before it was
renumbered as No 2398 in 1927 to make room for the new Fowler 2-6-4T
locomotives.
