This close up of image 'smjsa43' shows added detail of the only SMJ built signal box on the line. The name board on the side states 'Stratford on Avon' continuing the confusion to be found in the town with the GWR station being known as 'Stratford upon Avon'. This annomollay continues today with the Town Council being known as 'Stratford upon Avon' and the District Council (formed on April Fools day in 1974) being known as 'Stratford on Avon'.
