The main station building seen from the driveway. The layout of the building was in the form of the letter 'H' with the entrance from the drive and exit to the platform being from the central lobby section. The booking office and waiting rooms etc. were accessed from the lobby being on either side. It is thought that the two doorways seen on the left led to the toilets. Above the windows on the roof elevation is a motif similar in shape to a stylised ribbon.
