This close up of image 'smjk26' shows the main station
building on the down platform. The timber framed and boarded waiting room was a
later addition and is smaller than the waiting room opposite, in fact it is of
a similar size to the original up waiting room. The purpose of the timber
framed 'lean to' is unknown and whether the sign above indicates its purpose is
also a mystery. Next to this structure are the obligatory fire buckets filled
with sand.
