Close up of image 'smjk25' showing Kineton signal box still operational after the station's closure to passengers and goods services. The signal box remained in service until 22nd August 1966 thereby outlasting the passenger station by fourteen years. The goods service had ceased three years earlier than its official closure although in truth it ceased to be operated on 15th March 1965 when it was lasted manned.
