This close up of image 'smje11' shows the Kineton end of the station and the access to the goods yard. The signal on the right is the down home signal with its subsidiary arm added in 1911 for bidirectional working through the up loop. This was added at the same time as long-section electric train staff equipment was installed between Stratford upon Avon and Kineton to allow Ettington signal box to be switched out thereby saving the cost of manning the box twenty-four hours a day.
