Bidford on Avon: smjboa1
Looking towards Stratford upon Avon with the booking office
built into the second arch of the road overbridge. Beyond the bridge was a pair
of sidings diverging to the right serving a coal yard and brickworks. This
early view shows that the platform has just the corrugated shelter whereas in
image 'smjboa2' a grounded coach body has been added. On the right behind the
wire fencing is what appears to be a buffer stop and rails. Is Barry Taylor
right in his belief that there was a siding at Bidford on Avon station in
addition to the private sectors beyond the bridge.
