This close up of image 'smjbd7' shows the derelict platform structure. The room nearest the camera was clearly an office whilst the large opening must have been used for storing either equipment being used in the sidings or for another long forgotten reason. It is Mike Musson's firm belief that this structure was too modern looking to be built before the First World War and was most likely associated with the building of the Edge Hill Light railway in 1922.
