Close up of image 'smjb83' showing the other side of Binton station with the corrugated metal hut defining the goods yard's boundary. The steel shed was used by staff working in the goods yard for storage of tools etc. The gas lampposts and lamp over the doorway to the booking office are still in-situ as this the sign for the Gentlemen's toilets at the far end of the building. There are at least three wheelbarrows on the platform indicating that the closure of the station to passengers was a leisurely affair because of the continuation of goods traffic.
