This close up of image 'smjb83' shows the station building from the opposite end of the platform. The corrugated steel hut was used by staff working in the goods yard. The gas lampposts and lamp over the doorway to the booking office are still in-situ as this the sign for the Gentlemen's toilets. There are at least three wheelbarrows on the platform indicating that the structure was being stripped of fittings etc.
