The station building, starting from left to right, comprised the ladies toilet, booking office, booking hall, ladies waiting room with wc off the room and the gents urinals. The post which is standing on the corner is thought to have had a sign indicating the location of the gents toilets. In the far corner adjacent to the timber hut is a porters trolley which together with the bench and two gas lamps constituted the only station furniture in view.
