Ex-MR 0-6-0 4F No 44013 with a MR Deeley tender is seen heading for Broom with just a brake van in tow on 11th May 1959 some nine years after the station closed. The barrow crossing seen in 'mrwix589' has been removed whilst the only platform structures left are the gents urinal and an unknown structure. Number 44013 was built at Derby works to order 5530 in 1921 and survived in service until withdrawn from Leicester shed in October 1963 for scrapping by Derby works the same month.
