Looking towards Water Orton whilst an unidentified ex-LMS 4F
0-6-0 stands in the pilot sidings ready to provide assistance to freight
traffic proceeding on to Camp Hill. In the middle stands Washwood Heath Sidings
No 1 Box whilst to the left of the photograph are the carriage sidings. The
tracks to the left of the camera were designated for Lawley Street traffic (the
right-hand line commences at this point). The two lines that pass to the right
of No 1 Box were designated for New Street traffic whilst the furthest two sets
of lines were designated for Camp Hill traffic. 12th May 1961
