Looking East from Washwood Heath Junction Signal Box. The
unidentified ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 is standing in Washwood Heath Junction Down
sidings whilst opposite the 8F, in the distance, are many rows of open wagons
standing in Washwood Heath Up sidings. The Up sidings were designed to receive
wagons from the 'hump' which would have been sited behind and to the left of
the photographer.
