LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Tamworth

Looking towards Tamworth in this 1970 view of the station. Again its another photograph which was taken just passed our time line of 1968 but has been included because very little had changed and because of a dearth of photographs. There is little different to the 1930s view except the road bridge has been widened with the extension of the abutment on the up side to accommodate concrete beams.
