LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Tamworth
Tamworth High Level Station: mrthl447
On a wet day in the 1960s an ex-LMS 4-6-0 Stanier 'Black 5'
passes through the station on a down express train. The passenger and
operational facilities were primarily located on the up (left) platform and
were built in brick whilst the down platform waiting room was a timber framed
and clad affair.
