LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Ex-LMS Fowler 4MT 2-6-4T No 42417 departs from Studley & Astwood with a passenger service for Birmingham on 24th March 1962 not long before the closure of the line. Number 42417 was built as LMS No 2417 at Derby works to Lot 101 in November 1933 and remained in service for another two years before being withdrawn from Saltley shed in April 1964 for scrapping by Crewe works in May 1964.
