LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham
Studley & Astwood Bank Station: mrstud371
Looking towards Alcester whilst station staff pose for the
camera at Studley station. Note the station building is a much more elaborate
affair compared with Coughton. The coach on the right behind the station
nameboard is thought to be the location of the loading dock seen in the diagram
in Bob Essery's book. The station nameboard was painted white letters on an
ultramarine blue background with the post and beading in Denby Pottery cream.
