LMS stations and trains

LMS 2P 4-4-0 No 699 in immaculate condition stands with other locomotives in front of the shed. Along side is ex-LNWR 'Super D' 7F 0-8-0 No 9378 and immediately behind is ex-MR 3F 0-6-0 No 3321. 2nd March 1935

Number 699 was built by Creweworks in December 1932 and withdrawn from Llandudno Junction shed in December 1959 and scrapped by TW Ward Ltd of Killamarsh in August 1960. Number 9378 was built by Crewe works in April 1902 and worked out its last days at Wigan shed when it was withdrawn in November 1959 to be scrapped in April 1960 by Crewe works. Finally No 3321, built by Kitson & Co in December 1892 to the MR's 1873 class design was withdrawn from Saltley shed in February 1961 to be scrapped in June the same year by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
