Ex-MR 3P 4-4-0 No 745, a member of the MR's 2606 class, stands in steam at the shed. Built by Derby works in January 1904 it ran for another 13 years after this photograph was taken, being given the British Railways running number 40745 at nationalisation, before being withdrawn from Saltley shed in March 1950 to be scrapped shortly afterwards. 14th August 1937
