LMS 2-6-4T No 2435 has just been out-shopped new from Crewe and looks resplendent in her unlined black livery. Built in March 1936 Number 2435 lasted in service until withdrawn from Patricroft shed in April 1965 to be scrapped in August 1965 by TW Ward Ltd of Killamars. 4th April 1936
