Ex-MR 0-6-2T 'Flatiron' No 2014 stands alongside the disposal road as is evident by the piles of ash and clinker from the smokeboxes and fireboxes of the many locomotives based at Saltley. Number 2014 was built at Derby works in April 1907 and was also one of the many members of the class withdrawn from Saltley, in this instance March 1936, to be scrapped very soon afterwards. 9th Oct 1932
