Founder member of the MR's 2000 class, ex-MR 0-6-2T 'Flatiron' No 2000 stands in line fully coaled with other locomotives at the shed. Number 2000 was built in September 1908 at Derby works and ran for barely fifteen months after this photograph was taken as she was withdrawn from Nottingham shed in December 1937, to be scrapped shortly afterwards.
