Stranger in the camp! Ex-L&Y 3F 0-6-0 No 12126 stands cold and without coal in its tender as it waits in line with other locomotives. No 12126 was originally numbered 1086 by the L&Y when first built at Horwich works in June 1984. Following its numbering by the LMS, it was numbered 52126 when taken in to ownership by British Railways prior to being withdrawn shortly afterwards in May 1951 from Springs Branch shed to be scrapped by Horwich works shortly afterwards.
