LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Tamworth

Ex-MR 0-6-0 No 2928, designed by Johnson, stands on one of the stabling roads outside Saltley's No 3 and No 1 roundhouses on 24th September 1932. Built by Kitson & Co in March 1875, No 2928 was a member of the MR's 1142 class and remained in service for over 80 years until it was withdrawn in June 1946 when it was scrapped.
