LMS 'Crab' 2-6-0 No 2903 of 21A coasts past Saltley Sidings box without a wisp of steam in sight as it approaches Saltley Station on a local passenger working. Number 2903 was built by Crewe in September 1930 and lasted in service for thirty-two years before being withdrawn from Saltley shed in September 1962 before being scrapped by Horwich works the following month. 5th July 1947
