This close up of image 'mrsalt400' shows one of the many sidings that surrounded the station albeit insignificant in comparison to the yards, both private and railway owned, that existed. The lack of fencing etc. would seem to indicate this siding was railway owned and due to its close proximity to Saltley Canal Wharf, on the right approximately 150 yards behind the camera.
