LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton
Stockingford Shed: mrs116
External view of the closed shed with its duties transfered
to the LNWR shed at Nuneaton. As can be seen the shed had three roads, was of a
straight road configuration, not the normal Midland round house and made of
timber. The water tank was however a standard MR design. The grounded coach
body along side the building was a typical railway solution to either providing
extra space for either tols or parts or mess facilities.
