Looking north with the new goods shed on the left beyond the footbridge. This is the 'later' goods shed mention in the caption to image 'mrred414' which means that the original goods shed seen in that photograph was to the right of the photographer. The unusual loading gauge seen above replaced a more common type that existed at least until the mid-1950s.
