Ex-LMS Fowler 2-6-4T No 42334 and an unidentified ex-MR 3F 0-6-0 goods engine stand outside the single road engine shed

Ex-LMS Fowler 2-6-4T No 42334 and an unidentified ex-MR 3F 0-6-0 goods engine stand outside the single road Redditch engine shed. Number 2-6-4T 42334 ran as LMS No 2334 after being built at Derby works to Lot 53 in March 1929. Following another two years in service after this photograph was taken No 42334 was withdrawn from Trafford Park shed in December 1965 for scrapping by J Cashmore of Great Bridge in April 1966.
