MR 4-4-0 No 766 is seen working hard with black smoke pouring from its chimney

MR 3P 4-4-0 No 766 is working very hard and judging by the black smoke, with a lot of the fireman's effort going straight up the chimney in August 1921. Number 766 was a member of the MR's 2606 class built at Derby works in March 1905 but only lasted a short time in service being withdrawn and scrapped at Derby works in May 1928.
