LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

MR 2P 4-4-0 No 512 is blowing off steam from its safety valves near Northfield 1st Aug 1921. Number 512 was another member of the MR's 483 class regularly seen on this route. Built by Sharp Stewart in November 1899 it lasted in service until withdrawn from Saltley shed in January 1950 to be scrapped immediately by Derby works. Although allocated the BR running number 40512 it was never applied.
