LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Stanier Black 5 No 44917 is seen on 28th November 1956 on an express hurrying past the site of the old station where the original access ramps are still visible. No 44917 was built at Crewe works in December 1945 and remained in service until withdrawn from Crewe (South) shed in November 1967 to be scrapped by J Cashmore of Great Bridge in March 1968.
