Ex-LMS 0-6-0 4F No 44150 passes under Woodbridge Road bridge as it enters the site of the station closed in 1940 as an economy measure caused by the outbreak of the Second World War. Number 44150 was built at Crewe works in November 1925 and survived in service for nearly another 8 years after this photograph was taken being withdrawn from Coalville shed in January 1963 to be scrapped in March 1963 by Derby works. 8th May 1955
