This close up of image 'mrls302' shows one of the drives
into the depot lit by gas lamps, similar in pattern to the others used
throughout the yard. At the end of the pile of goods stored on the covered rail
are two or three grounded box vans used probably for stores. It was on top of
the nearest grounded body that the photographer stood to take image 'mrls425'.
On the left are several horse-drawn carts all constructed to the same pattern
and built at Derby.
