MR 0-6-0 No 3440 on an up goods train with many of the of open wagons being Private Owners

MR 0-6-0 3F No 3440 heads an up goods train comprising mainly Private Owner open mineral wagons on 16th July 1921. Built by Dubbs & Company in 1893 No 3440 was a member of the MR's 1873 class and was to remain service until December 1959 when it was withdrawn from 14E Bedford shed to be scrapped by Doncaster Plant in September 1960.
