Ex-LTSR 2P 4-4-2T 'Tilbury Tank' No 2098 'Crouch Hill' stands at the head of a Redditch local passenger train

Ex- LTSR 2P 4-4-2T "Tilbury Tank" No 2098 'Crouch Hill' stands at the head of a local passenger train to Redditch. 11th April 1935. No 2098 was built by Sharp Stewart in October 1900 and ran in service until withdrawn from Wellingborough shed in March 1951 to be scrapped at Crewe works in April 1951. Although allocated a BR running number it was never affixed.
