LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Ex-MR 1P outside-framed 2-4-0 No 177 on a local passenger service to Evesham on 7th March 1925. The full tender indicates that its not long left Bournville shed which was home to many old venerable classes of MR locomotives. A member of the MR's 1282 class built by Dubbs & Company in February 1884 No 177 was to enjoy a long working life which spanned six decades before being withdrawn for scrapping at Derby works in January 1931.
