LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Ex-MR 1P outside-framed 2-4-0 No 177 on a local passenger service to Evesham on 7th March 1925. The full tender indicates that its not long left Bournville shed which was home to many old venerable classes of MR locomotives. Number 177, a member of the MR's 1282 class was built by Dubbs & Co in February 1884 and and enjoyed a long life in service that spanned six decades before being withdrawn for scrapping at Derby works in January 1931.
