Ex-MR 1P 2-4-0 No 22 with outside frames on a local passenger working. The locomotive's outside framing was a common Victorian feature and one of the first examples of the use of 'composite' engineering in that the frames were a combination of steel with timber sandwiched between them. 7th November 1931
