A pair of MR 4-4-0s, Nos 397 and 523 on an express near Kings Norton

A pair of MR 4-4-0s No 397 and No 523 on an express climbing the bank near Kings Norton. 7th Aug 1936 Number 397, a member of the MR's 1808 class was built by Derby works in June 1891 and was withdrawn from Brunswick shed in Liverpool in March 1951 whilst Number 523 was built as a member of the MR's 483 class by Derby works in June 1898 and was withdrawn from Barnwood shed, Gloucester in November 1952.
