LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

A pair of ex-MR class 2P 4-4-0s No 505 and No 368 are seen running at speed at the head of an express train. C1937 Number 505, a class 483 design, was built by the MR by Sharp Stewart in October 1899 and remained in service until withdrawn from Templecombe shed on the old Somerset & Dorset Railway in October 1953 for immediate scrapping at Derby works. Number 368 was built to an older design, the MR's 1738 class, by Derby works in June 1886.
