This close up of image 'mrkn524', showing the Northfield end
of the station, provides further illustration of the architectural features of
the building. The windows and doors have curved frames with glazing to suit. In
addition the windows have an inner panel feature following the general outline,
an updated version of the multi-pane Georgian windows that were common some
forty years previously. The chimney combines the flue of two rooms elegantly
brought together above the roof to produce the arched feature seen above.
