This close up of image 'mrkh187' is interesting not just
because it shows the trailing crossover from the down to the up line because it
was taken one month after the station officially was closed to goods traffic.
The absence of a connection to the goods yard either indicates the connection
was removed very quickly after closure or the official date was more a process
of officialdom finally acknowledging reality.
